Design & Layout of Interior

Once the proofreading and copy editing steps are complete, the next stage is preparing the document for publishing. This does not include cover design.
This includes the following:

• Creation of Title & Copyright page
• Preparing a Table of Contents (if applicable)
• Choosing the correct font for headings and content
• Setting the page size according to agreed book size
• Making sure all chapters start on the right-hand page (if required)
• Checking for "orphan" paragraphs
• Setting up headers, footers, and page numbering as agreed
• Making sure any images included in the publication are of print standard (minimum 300dpi)
  Photographs and images incur an extra cost as they introduce complexity.
• A complete second formatting of the entire documument is required for eBook, as eBooks require coding for e-readers.

The rate for book layout is a base $500.

Photos and images are $5.00 per image.

Reformatting for eBook is a flat $300, plus $2 per image extra.
